I love making these funky footprints:
1) It's a technical challenge to get the best print possible (which for me is fun)
2) I know that the mums, friends, family etc who receive them are going to cherish them forever!
The picture above shows a few of the steps (no pun intended) involved. First of all you need to get a good clear print. This is generally down to the mums sneaking up, paint pot in hand, while the baby is asleep. My mum suggested this would involve copious quantities of calpol (and that was just for her!).
Next we use "Murano Silver Magic" to turn the footprint into a pendant......
We do positive and negative options (inny or outy feet) my favourite is the outy, which is yours?

How cute are these! great idea!
These are fab! I love them. Do you do older kids feetsies too?
These are so gorgeous, love the outy feet the most, but they're really lovely

Thanks all, always great to get positive "feetback"! ;^)
Mel - They're reduced as part of process so we can do any sized feet, from tiny tosies to huge great hairy man feet. (It's really cool to collect them all and have a family hands and feet bracelet).
We also do handprints and childrens drawings using the same process.
These are GREAT Nic. What a wonderful keepsake too. My favorite is the outy! :D
wow! great idea! mom will love this idea for sure.
I would love to learn how to do this. I live in South Africa. Please could you tell me how to find information on how it is done.
It uses photopolymer plates to make an impression sheet. Though not complicated it does require practice and UV equipment.
Try wholelottawhimsey in the USA as they supply the kit you need.

thank you so much. I spent 2 hours on the net with no joy trying to find out how you do it. There is only one company here that does it. so its maybe a good business to go into to.
